At this website http://www.a-pp.com/shop/Silkolene_Engine_Oils.htm

they sell Silkolene pro R oil 15W/50 oil 5L for £33. This makes it a tad cheaper than Mobil 1 15W/50 at £35 for 4L but would seem to be the same spec of synthetic ester oil. Anyone know any reason for not using the silkolene oil?

Cheers Cal

I use the Pro S 15W50 stuff - fully synthetic. I think the R version is semi synthetic.

According to the website PRO R is synthetic in 15W/50 And PRO S IS 10W/50 both called ester synthetics. Cal
