is that picture the correct car. - its very subtle (street sleeper) if it is a T5R

my mate has one and its alot lower and meaner looking (and is totally as it left the factory).

Weren't the 'R's the 4WD 300+Bhp ones? Or is that another Volve i'm thinking of?

 

It's got some standard Volvo alloys on not the T5 Factory fit's. These were on it when i bought it. I think thats why it looks higher, larger tyres not low profiles. Real wolf in sheeps clothing tho.

It's front wheel drive with traction control but i think it's 300+ bhp, the R versions had a little more bhp.

I was going to get some alloys for it but i want an RX-7 now.

 

The T5-R was a limited run of 250 but it was a sucsess so Volvo deceided to produce some more and the came in the colours: Dark Green, Black and Red .
There was Also some white preproductions T5R.The purpose of these was to test the engins etc.The white ones are the most rare one.
In 1996 the popular 850 T5-R changed name to only 850 R
And ite came in the colours: Red, Black, Green, White, Grey and Lightgreen. 1995 registered versions only came in Yellow or Black and 1996 versions only came in red and black.
The T5-R cars were built between mid 94 and mid 95. They were only 2wd and had a 250bhp 2.3ltr 5 Cylinder engine. They came with 17" 5 Spoke Anthracite Alloys.


That pic is not a T5-R but could be a 850R.

It's a 1995 2wd 2.3ltr 5 Cylinder. The Spare is a 17" 5 spoke Anthracite !!!!!

Surely this makes it a T5-R ...as it says on the paperwork.

Front lip spoiler shows it to be a 'R'. Standard T5's don't have that. Just different alloys. Good price depending on miles and history.
