Diff mount bushes

I've read a couple of threads where it is mentioned that under hard acceleration the rear diff will twist on it's bushes and knock against the mounts between gearchanges.
It is described as being "normal" although you should avoid it if possible.
I have noticed this when nailing it and wondered if anyone has tried uprated bushes as I wouldn't mind doing away with this trait.
I'm guessing that nylon items or similar will increase road noise?
Anyone with any experiences of this?
