I'm building a layout in the loft for the kiddies Christams pressies this year.... no really, for the kids

have you got any track or other interesting stuff you want to get shot of? Especially the track designer cd?

Picked up a copy of the cd from PC World the other week. The original is down to £5 now that the new one is out.

A better way is to get the game Loco-Commotion though for a fiver and use the track editor. All the cars and engines are based on Hornby and Marklin.

Forgot to mention eBay is the best place for extra track. You can pick up batch lots for very little money.

Also have a look through "Railway Modeller" from Smiths. Loads of ads for stuff, cheap, even new, and plenty of traders selling second hand.
There is a good "For sale, private sellers" section in the back too.

Hornby track builder version two is £15 at PCWorld.
