Cool

It is a 3" stainless steel system, that isn't very noisy and is fitted with a
sports-catalyst.
any experiences?

I think Scoobymania sell the same....?

Ric,

I have a MRT cat downpipe and centre section with muffler. I also have a Remus backbox which makes it quieter than the standard system.

Breathing is definately improved with the redline coming up much quicker. Lag also seems to have been reduced.

Thanks

Gavin

Hello!
My current system is a Remus back box with Supersprint downpipe (2,5"), which is
rather noisy, do you think, the noise of the whole MRT exhaust system will be
louder?
Power gains with the exhaust system?
greetings
ric

Hello Richard.

I haven't put my car on the dyno since fitting so I can't give you a power
figure.

I assume that the cat in the downpipe will muffle the sound to some extent, along with the muffler in the centre section.

On my car, it really is quiet - less noise than the standard exhaust.

I know MRT do an additional part you can have on the muffler which gives an additional -5 db if wanted.

Why not keep the Remus backbox ? It will fit the MRT downpipe and centre section. I am very impressed with mine - better breathing with less noise ?

Thanks

Gavin
