Im going to buy my air filter today for my 93WRX, I want to get the K+N induction but it says it for 97> cars, Im sure Ive heard its ok to use on older cars you just have to change the hole on one of the fitting brackets....can anyone confirm this for me...

Your absolutely correct. I raised the same topic last week and this was the opinion (have a search for K&N on 93WRX). I believe the baplate needs the holes moving and thats it.
