Question

hi all

can anyone recomend a oil for the gearbox and one for the diff and how often should they be changed.
also how hard/easy are these job's.it's for a 93 legacy 2lt turbo.

Hi John

They should be changed every 30,000 miles / 2 years.

We use Silkolene Silktran SYN5 for the gearbox (75w/90 API GL5 - Subaru's spec) and Silkolene BOA 90 LS low friction LSD fluid (85w/90 API GL5 - as Subaru recommend)for the diff.
