Hi - just speculating over importing a japanese 98 forester twin turbo from MVI services.

Anybody own one?

How fast /powerful are they in comparison with a standard impreza MY98 wrx? I saw a new one in Cyprus and the saleman said they have similar performance to the wrx, but handling is a bit naf (obviously!)

Most seem to be automatic which is a shame however I suppose its 'that' sort of car....they seem to be an absolute bargain as a second family touring car,

I have never heard of a twi turbo Forester -
they have a similar engine to the Imprezas, but detuned, 170bhp here and 240bhp in Japan

AFAIK the only twin turbos are Legacies - I know quite a lot about those
