Hi

I went on the Prodrive tour last night for children in need and took my sister as a birthday present (she's nuts about scoobs & rallying) and Prodrive knew it was my sisters birthday (not sure how but I guess they read it on here) and presented her with a t-shirt signed by Petter Solberg That was just such a nice touch and I can't get over it.

Many thanks for who-ever found out and made the decision. It was the best birthday pressie ever for her (even topped mine )

Paul (still smiling today)

Isn't it great when nice things like this happen . I am suprised though that you haven't pinched the t-shirt for yourself! Signed by a world champion no less.

If you saw the way she was holding it afterwards you would know you stood no chance of wrestling it away

This is the sort of thing that should get Prodrive a mention on the Program on Friday. Anyone know someone at the BEEB ?

Paul

Glad to hear your sister is happy with the T-shirt. Unfortunately, neither Mike or I can claim credit for it!

One of my colleagues noticed it was her birthday (Michelle are you reading this ) and arranged it with Ben - your tour guide yesterday.

Nick.

p.s. Even I haven't got a signed Petter shirt so I hope she realises how lucky she is

p.p.s Anyone who wants a signed Petter T-shirt, please look here www.prodrive.com/childreninneed

Cool

I think she realises how lucky she is I spoke to Michelle via email earlier and she said that it was her that noticed and put it together.

I have now contacted children in need and they have passed my email onto the production team who produce the scroll on the show tomorrow night.

Paul,

Excellent news re BEEB and Children in need.....

Maybe we should talk to all the other motorsport teams in in the UK and get them to open up for the next one. The wife went around Arrows (as was) a few years ago and had a great time.

Paul,
It was a very generous gesture from ProDrive, and it is nice to see you repaying the compliment. They are truly a class act and a visit which will be hard to beat.

Best 20 quid I ever spent, well, except to that lady when I was 17, but thats another story!

I have posted a couple of photos to the other thread if anyone is interested.
