Magnex mid section + SS back box, how LOUD?

Hi MTR,
didnt realy notice any difference in the noise levels when i added the Magnex center on SS b-box. Nor did it increase bhp acording to the dyno runs i did, in fact it was lower! But they were done on different days(see paul srongs web site).
It did improve the speed of the turbo spinning up though and it felt faster so i was happy with it.

P.S. Mine has got a silencer on aposed to the straight through pipe.
P.P.S. R19KET also has/had the same mod and i think was happy with it?

Yeah it was a strange day of the dyno runs most people from what i could gather were showing pretty poor increases (apart from Bob!).
I got mine from Graham Goode's i think it was about £100, but i am 'trade', so might be a little more? But worth it i think.
Next for me is the d/pipe, i like the idea of having a flaming exhaust!!

Hi MTR,
I have the Magnex mid-section - replaced the stock cat mid-section in my UK car. The Magnex has a small silencer in it so make sno more noise than standard (that I could hear) and I have a Prodrive back box. It does spin up quicker though.
