Absolute nonsense!
My clutch has lasted 37k miles so far, including at least 25 runs at Santa Pod and half a dozen track days.
Apparently, they're good for about 50k miles, so whoever told you 15k is a poo!
Use another garage.

Stef.

Question

My brothers clutch went ping the other day after 21k miles (must get it fixed before he comes back from Singapore!!) The guy at the garage said they normally only last 15k miles. Is this right??
I have a freind who's last clutch only did 2k miles before it went. He does drive like a ******** however - company car

My clutch has lasted for 44,000 miles, it gave up the ghost on the PE rolling road as they performed the PE phase 1. My younger brother drives the car very hard, I also consider my driving to be quite hard, (quote Merv @ powerengineering " Your car has seen some action" ). If my clutch can last for 44,000 miles then I don't see why yours won't last for 30,000.
