Just posted this in the dealer closed lists but Vale Motors in Yeovil went into receivership yesterday and has now closed.

Great shame as they were a good garage and the Subaru mechanics that serviced my car were very good.

I was about to post a question about what happened and I read this! I was in there a couple of weeks discussing my next service and fitting the spring kit on my STi, come back from working in the US and it's empty?!?!?

So where do us Southern boys go now? I heard Chapelgate near Bournemouth no longer have their franchise?

 

I cant keep up to pace with a dealers open list, but always check the "dealers closed topic", I try to keep this one going to keep you all informed as and when I get the info......

 

Boysey, the choice seems to be Tileys in Bristol, Sparshatts in Botly (southampton) ot the dealer in Exeter, roughly where are you? there are other places, but not main dealers!

I'm about 5 miles outside Yeovil so Vale in Yeovilwas my top choice but I'd also used Chapelgate, Vale in Wincanton and the one in Taunton (Atkins I think they were called) before.

Looks like I got to do a bit of planning ahead for each service now!!! Perhaps an Evo 8 would have been the better choice after all with Vincents on the door step!

Ho hum ...

 

Can any of you Westcountry residents recommend anyone for servicing an import?
