Dont use any paint remover type stuff it messes up the plastic. Ive put a long lost post to the top for you info(Is your car lacking that certain sparkle).
Its at the top in Members Gallery at the moment.
PS. Use wet n dry paper only.

I know i should be in the styling section with this, but here for a quick answer..............
I have read about cleaning the paint off the back of the front grill badge........ it will not budge !!!

I have used paint brush restorer and cleaner but no joy at all, also had a go with a thinners used in printing but that did not work either, is it safe to try paint remover ????? or will that attack the plastic or the inlaid chrome effect on the badge itself ?
Answers on a postcard please

Thanks
Simon
Thanks Neil,
I was tempted just to try it but was a little concerned that it may damage the plastic...... but i shall get some tomorrow
At this rate i just as well have paid for a new badge lol
Cheers

Soak it for about 15 minutes in Wickes Paintbrush Cleaner, then rub hard with a cloth impregnated with the same stuff.
Doesn't touch the plastic, and takes about 5 mins of rubbing.

Thanks Alcazar,
I shall try that first, i have not soaked it yet as i was worried about the cleaner possibly attacking the plastic of the badge itself, i will give it a go tomorrow
Thanks

Failing that, use very fine wet and dry paper, preferably wet. Will slowly sand off anything, and 1000 grade used wet will still give a very good finish after you're done.

Best option IMHO is to put genuine carbon fibre the back of the badge. There was a picture of mine floating around somewhere, and my bro has done the same for one or two other people too.
Is this post for real????
Are you trying to remove the Pink paint? If so, I can understand - BUT - what gets that puffy, nancy, girlie Gold Paint off the wheels?????????????????????
