Question

My Door seal (drivers door), the rubber bit between the glass of the door and the body of the car (whgen the door is closed), keeps falling out! at the top

I first noticed when I dropped the window down to go in a car park. I took it to the dealers and they said they would glue it if it keeps happening - I just wondered if it's happened to anyone else?

I wouldn't mind but it's a brand new car and I've only had it three days.

Still I can't stop grinning when I drive it!

Abit of glue would probably work.

Not noticed the rubber falling down but i do get a loud whistle through the drivers door/window at high speeds. Need to get it checked out at the next service.

Thumbs down

The rubber seal came away on mine, when it was about 2 months old.
Just pushed it back in. hasn't come out since.

This seal should not be glued in as it conceals the screws that hold all the other parts of the trim in place. It simply needs to be fitted correctly and no further problems will occur. If the dealer you are using cannot do the job, try another one with a bit more knowledge about the cars.

I had a blobeye courtesy car- with the same problem. It also had other bits of trim dropping off it at 2K miles. Not good.
