Just been looking at the sun "newspaper".
On page 63 there is an article about a journalist who is taking part in rally GB in a scooby.
It says he is driving a "showroom-standard group N subaru impreza".

You would think that would mean a MY03 sti or wrx.

But the piccie looks like a type R

Anyone got any ideas

Surely a spec-c could be classed as group N, it is a production model afterall!!

 

It looks like a 2 door to me.
Although it has got a roof vent.

And an older style front grill



I am probably just nit picking

 

I will check, but from what I believe its based on a version 5 Type R...I' ll speak to him tomorrow....incase you're wondering - I took the pics
