Question

I don't have a manual.

My headlights are pointing down to the ground and can hardly see a thing at night so I need to adjust them. How do I go about doing that please?

It's an STI IV (if that makes a difference)

Simple job
Need a 10mm spanner (for the RH headlamp) and a medium Philips screwdriver (for the LH headlamp)

Obviously have the car facing a suitable screen eg a wall or the garage door, so as to check on how much you are raising the lights.

On the rear of the RH headlamp (on the left as you look under the bonnet), closest to the wing, there should be a long screw with a 10mm hex head. This is the height adjustment. Turn gently and observe effect on the heigth of the beam.

On the LH headlamp (on the right as you look under the bonnet), there isn't so much room, due to the battery and header tank, and hence this has a different adjuster.
This is a plastic lump jutting out of the back of the headlamp with a philips screw on the top.
Turn the Philips screw to adjust the height.

Well that's what I have on my 94 WRX anyway
Yours should be the same ...
