Could be the clutch isnt clearing fully, i had this and had to change the slave clutch cylinder (small one that pushes a rod on the top of your gearbox with a spring attached under your intercooler) as it was knackered.
Could be your gear syncros, does it only happen when trying to change gear fast?

If it turns out to be your clutch then i would reccomend the AP Organic clutch kit (as a lot of others here would too) or Lateral Performance clutch which ive heard good things about.

Every now and then when accelerating hard from 1st to 2nd, its hard to get it into gear. This also happens sometimes from 4th to 5th, may be this is a sign of the clutch on its way. Got to admit that the clutch is not light when pressed in....

What is the best clutch for the RA....?

Just spoke to lateral performance(Mark)who was very helpful and honest. He suggested that if its not slipping then its not the clutch. The biting point is midway and suggested to practice the gear changes. Anyone else out there (when doing a quick gear change) tries to change gear quickly when the clutch is not fully pressed in...?

You could always bring the biting point up a bit, adjustment on the pedal, or change your driving style, whichever is easier for you.

 

Didn't know you could adjust the biting point....I think thats my answer...
