Not able to go to Japfest fext week as I away, I normally do these things. I have a mate with an Evo 6 and we normally have a fun time driving to these events.

We do Le Mans as well, my M8 got 171mph out of his Evo, I could see the two pound coins flying out the exhaust!!

my exhuast does sound pretty good its a hks exhaust system as far as i know as the previous owner fitted it. do u find northampton has a real problem of novas and corsas trying it on with u @ the lights im at uni in northampton and go home to cornwall during the holidays

Get no Nova's and such like having a go, suppose they realise they stand no chance, or the fact that they cannot catch me in the first place!

My wife gets them sometimes though. I remember her telling me that she took out a Fiesta RS Turbo once, apparantly the Fiesta was still at the lights spinning its wheels when she was 200 meteres up the road!

The onlookers were very impressed and laughed their heads off at the Fiesta.

Saw the post and thought it must be me as I was in the area about that time! It's not though :-(

Anyway, nice MY01 (think it was a WRX) pulled up alongside me at the lights just before I pulled off to get some Optimax. Your reg *** AWD (nice, BTW), mine is a black MY03 with STI mudflaps (I know, I know, but I got a good deal on them and wanted 'proper' scooby ones).

I see loads of Scoobs about and have had a wave out of a few, but there seem to be a lot more than I see judging by the number of posts on the board from owners in this area.

Anyway, up the Northants 'masiveeee' (or whatever the crazy kids are saying these days).

You'll normally see me on the 9 to 5 run between the A43 north and Hunsbury, but I do like going for a burble at the weekend.

I used to burble in a TVR Chimaera and though that was a great car I have to admit to having more fun in the WRX PPP :-)

The problem with 'spotting' Scoobies (I'll get my dufflecoat) is you're never sure it's a scoobynetter. I bet I've seen a few of the people who post on here and may even have waved.

Is there a meet around Northampton? There used to be one every month with the TVR crew.

The *** AWD goes to my gym, will have a chat with him when and if I bump into him. We both waved the other day as we were driving.

Mine is MY01 WRC Blue with Anthrecite colour standard wheels, lowered, morrettes, adjustable spoiler, blah blah, this list goes on. You may hear the voodoo sounds comming from the induction kit before you see me.

I always wave, even to the few old biddies you see around town driving Turbo's / WRX's

Only ever spoke abt a northampton meet, someone managed to get on some time back at wilby nr wellingborough, but that was it,.!!! Sixfields would be a good venue, masses of parking and a few eating houses/pub

You missed a meet at Sixfields on Sunday (it was Jap performance cars). We might get another sorted next month if you are willing to mix with 'others'.

I'm also in Northampton,. Only got the car last friday from Westaway.
WR Blue, STi skirts and Prodrive back box are the only exterior add-ons.

 

Looks like it might be worth doing a meet then... it has bee said on a couple of occasions abt doing one, but never put myself forward in case it failed
