Finally after a year and a bit, I've been spotted

Twigster was a few cars in front of you - your's sounded sweet, very much like mine used to.

I think we are both on the list for Powerstation next week, should be an interesting day

Will see you next week, mine won't be on the rollers though, went on at the last rolling road day at G-force, couple months back. Nothing's been done to the car since so no need, should be a good day out judging by the list.

What mods have you done so far?

If you haven't got the bumpsteer done, I recommend you ring Powerstation and book it in for next week - the best £141 I've spent

Didn't know anything about Santa Pod on the 12th - probably best if I stay at home; already spent approx. £2k on car this month so I'm skint

 

Ian, I know what you mean about the football, I don't want to miss it, after the rolling day will be heading off to wellingborough (just down the road from santa pod) and watch the footie there.
Mods so far are mainly external, when I 1st bought the car I was happy with the power, still am, just not the torque. She was rolling roaded at 301 bhp/240lbt (full de-cat/exhaust system and induction), now going to look into getting an ecu of some kind, when i've decided which one. As for the bumpsteer, will get all that done when I source some new wheels and there's some fresh tread on there.

How about you, was the £2k for repair or toys?, proberly the latter.

Funny you should mention ECU changes, I had mine done last Saturday - 4 tanks of fuel later and I'm still grinning when ever I press the throttle.

I'll take you out and show you the difference next week if you like??

Don't really know what to expect figure wise next week - had 277bhp with just exhaust, but figures won't show the real story, the difference on the road is unreal

Regards the footie next saturday, I've just realised the kick-off is around 1700 - 1800, so travelling to wellingborough after the RR day will not give me much time, so are there any pubs near powerstation showing the footie?

No idea about pubs around Powerstation showing the footy, I'll watch it down my local or around a mates place.

alright si, its matt from Tesco's. found loads of your past threads, and found the ones with pictures of your beast - they aint coming up though! no luck finding the exhaust you was on about though - doesnt matter though, just spent an hour of uni time browsing the site!
