I have noticed that people keep saying the P1 is slower than an STI 8.I have the Autocar from march 2000 issue when they tested the P1.Autocar got the 0-60 in 4.66 secs. 0-100 12.2.Which is the same as the STI 8 PPP.I have raced my friend who has a STI8 PPP and there is nothing between them.The only thing I can think of is the STI8 feels faster because of the shorter ratios in the six speed box.

Here we go again.....another P1 debate. Lets see how many pages we can get up to.

 

I thought people said the STI8 was faster 'in the twisties', rather than quicker? There are alot more factors involved in point to pointing than 0-60.
