I have an imported 95 WRX and would like to know how much BHP it is kicking out. I have looked at the production run codes on the FAQ but where do I look on the car for this reference. Is there an easy way of telling. I was told that the sport seats with grey trim are the 275bhp but I think this may be crap.

I seem to remember that you should look at the safety label on the seatbelts for this information!

WRX from MY95 to MY97 have 260ps. The only WRX that has 275ps is the STi II saloon, the STi II wagon has 260ps.
Grey and black trim is standard from MY95, before that it's red and black.

According to the FAQ on model codes, the MY95 WRX has 260PS (255bhp).

I have a MY95 WRX which has an HKS Super Mega Flow induction kit and Super Drager exhaust. On Power Engineering's rolling road the power was 279bhp and torque 264ft/lb.
