If its the same one as I've got.."cat back" its the whole exhaust from the cat (obviously).. look under your car from the front door area and you'll see the cat..its replaces everything after that..

Cat back on an Impreza is just the back box as the centre section has a cat and the only thing behind that cat is the backbox
A non resonated Magnex centre section will be around £60

Centre section and downpipe are different (take a look at the order book and it will be obvious!)

 

Madgrip: it does sound obvious but it's not. As the guys said the section in front of the back box has the cat built in.
I did notice the cat by-pass pipe listed seperately for about £130?

The £130 cat bypass is the resonated item. It is supposed to be quieter than the non-resonated but there won't be much in it really. Either way, it ain't worth £70 over the non resonated

 

haven't price list to hand but RRP for the Magnex parts are approx' - £195 for down pipe, £65 non-res centre, £125 resonated centre and £225 for "cat-back" system (back box to you or i).......
