After a trip round in my car one of my mates really fancies a P1. I've told him that they are 'offically' all sold or reserved but that there may be 1 or 2 left. Yes i've given him the STI chat but..

Which is right? All sold and there's a waiting list or loads left and take your pick.

 

There have been some cancellations, but they may have had reserves standing by for them, you can bet he will have to wait for it though, unless he goes to a dealer that has a Demo in they are prepared to flog off

 

About a month or so ago I called 4 dealers.

All could supply a P1, with delivery dates ranging from 2 weeks to appx 3 months. This was before the paint job problems however.

I suspect there are a good few around and anecdotal evidence suggests dealers placed orders with IM that they did not have buyers for.

Consequently, you are not as lucky as they make out to be getting one.
