Thumbs down

copied from my "for sale" ad but I thought I'd put it here as I've got the hump double time now. Can't sell the car and can't even drive the bl**dy thing

transpires that the dealer does not have any STi size brakepads, despite the fact that I booked it in *to have the brake pads changed* over 2 weeks ago.
me: so when will you be getting some pads in?
dealer: not sure - IM do not have any either
me: so, roughly, when?
dealer: don't know, really. We'll contact you when we have them. In the mean time, it would be best if you didn't use the car that much as the pads are very low.

FFS - would I have booked it in for new pads if the feckin things were brand new? just as well I don't actually *need* the car atm - otherwise I would have been really annoyed...

Get 'em yourself from Performance Braking or ASperformance. Then give them to the dealer, saving you a fortune on dealer prices.
