Question

What is the difference between a WRX and a Type R? Are they worth extra money?

See the faq on the sidc mainpage, this explains the Impreza variants in most detail. A Type-R is a 2-door WRX made in Japan by Subaru and tuned by their motorsport division, STi. It has a large number of modifications over the standard WRX and UK turbo, like the adjustable centre differential, but no abs. It does 0-60 in 4.3s and is worth the extra money over a normal wrx as it is quicker and perhaps more special looking.
