There seems to be a lot of work involved fitting the TD05 after MY96 including repositioning the power steering pump. I think i know where to get a front entry TD05 from but is there anyone that can fit this for me in the Kent area?

Alternatively would anyone be able to suggest a reasonably priced (about £800) alternative (perhaps almost as good as TD05)? Really looking for about 320 to 350 with accompanying mods

Not quite sure I understand this, a TD05 with a front entry compressor cover is a direct replacement to the TD04 on MY97-MY00 cars. The only different fittings are the water pipes which use a different size banjo.

Thanks for the reply - after reading this thread i think i was getting confused....Perhaps this only applies to earlier cars?

http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/thread.asp?threadid=202064

so if it's a direct replacement (apart from water / oil feeds) may as well go ahead and get one?
