Is the ProDrive upgrade worth while at £1600, or would it be better spent on other stuff? Is it possible to do a prodrive upgrade (not the exhaust change) without going through Subaru? What all does the Prodrive upgrade consist of anyway?

Depends of the MY of the car.

Generally it is a replacement ECU, uprated exhaust, possibly some uprated IC hoses.

However what you do still retain is your warranty, but if you were not bothered about that there are a few other options avaliable to you.
