its now just a question of when i upgrade the turbo not if but im stuck between a few choices, have a tek3 uk 99 with tdo4 turbo no original subaru exhaust parts and induction , do i go for for tdo5 the cheap option, md304, tdo6 or just add a hybrid tdo4 will never do any other mods now than the turbo dont want to run into gear box problems, only fancy the tdo4 hybrid as im hoping to add without remap, but any of the other turbos ill have to have the car remapedonce remapped im not bothered on the turbo, but which will give best results as in torque up to 340bhp

john banks if your reading it wasnt that long when you did remap your advice would be appreciated

Steve, IMO mate..
If you are going to change the turbo for anything other than another std TD04 you will need a remap.
Think about it... If you get a TD04 hybrid it will give benefits in airflow or boost pressure, this will need to be remapped for.
