Today I decided and made order for USDM STi 2.5 shortengine.
Price was amazing: 1400 USD.
This is the way I will repair my broken STi 3 engine.
1) But Im not sure. Good price, physically the same block connection to heads. Why the other users from scoobynet didnt bought it? Its very easy way to repair or to upgrade engine?
2) I will run it on VF23 turbo and standard IC and injectors. I have Haltech engine management. Have I buyuprated injectors, uprated turbo or will it run on standard configuration?
3) Which is gasket thickness on STi 3?
4) Which is best or safe compresion ratio? Standard is 8:1. With bigger displacement and same gasket thickness compression can raise to 8,6:1.
