Does anyone know how the suretrack LSD works or have a link to a tech web site ?

I know it does not work like the torsen diff, and I think it uses a ratchet mech, but how. Would love to know just for interest

I mean, how do the internals work. I know the internal design of the torsen and the mitsi AYC rear dif (got an old one in the garage, amazing bit of kit) but not the suretrack,

Just for interests sake

They are not just another brandname for a TorSen style helical diff.

Theres some info on various diffs including ATB and SureTrac here:

Bear in mind that these guys are talking about LSDs on a front wheel drive car.
