White 22B in Crowthorne this morning

Thought 22B's were only BLUE

 

Well I may have been driving on autopilot but this was
definitely WHITE and definitely 2-DOOR and definitely HUGE!!

No I think it's a white type r with the wide arches put onto it. I've seen it a few times. Think the owner lives near stokenchurch?

 

hmm looked very realistic then.

had the proper bumpers, wide arches and everything, thats why i noticed it. particularly the rear bumper as its quite different to normal. and carbon fibre blade on the rear spoiler.

this was 8:30am coming from sandhurst direction.

 

hhhhmmmm - maybe someone was mad enought to paint a genuine one white then.

 

Weren't the prototypes sent to prodrive white? Or is that the P1?

 

p.s loads of Rallied 22Bs are white or even orange...

 

And there's a black Texaco one.

My money is on a Type R conversion though.

WOTS WRONG WITH WHITE!?

 

Dont think ther's anything wrong with white... just that never imagined a 22B as white.. kinda changes the identity of the car for me.. if you know how i mean..

 

fair comment, i have seen a pic of a white P1 and it looked the dogs danglies!

 

scoobs look awesome in white, the new sti8 looks the dogs tezzas!!!

P1 prototype^^^^

I was interested in it when it was up for sale a few years back, but i didnt want a white car, wanted a blooo one And i think it was a T reg, so warranty wasnt much on it, cant remember now, bloke in garage wanted rid of it. Apparently loads of gear on it, carbon fibre all over it too.

maybe it was one of their old recce cars for the WRC cos they were wide arched like the 22B

 

No it was built for the customer by Prodrive as a road going WRC look scoob. It has the wide track, huge brakes and everything as well as the Carbon rear spoiler (not fitted I think)

Hi All

I have seen this car and chatted with the guy and got his number so that I can meet up with him to take some pictures of it He doesn't use scoobynet but I did mention it to him. The car is a STI6 type r with full WRC body panels built by prodrive using the last body panels available, it runs on huge 18" OZ alloys and looks the business. I will try and get photos soon.
