Just got to say this one smart peice of kit and FANTASTIC value for money!!

How much did you pay for this, i am in the market soon for something like this.

 

I paid a little over a grand.. most on-line places are £999 at the moment

 

just bought at 7500, not arrived yet but very excited.

 

Im looking for an Avic800/850 myself wheres the best place to get it cheap.? I@ve tried CEL Hendon ect and a few others but want to find a few more prices before I buy

I've got the Clarion 928RVD package, 7" screen with DVD / MP3 etc and the ability to add endless amounts of stuff through the external master unit that sits in the boot or wherever in the car (boot makes it easier to connect speakers etc).

It was only just over the 1K mark, and the quality is very good!

clarion 928 wont do touch screen navi controls! thats why i am still waiting for pioneer one!

 

true about the clarion, but the 928 is amazing bit of kit, i'm soon to put the sat nav unit on it - does anyone know if the remote control works through the head unit remote sensor?

 

Doesn't the 6500 tend to stick out a bit from the dash rather than fit in nice and flat?
Seen it in a golf and it protrudes by about an inch!

 

the 6500 does have a front on it but does go out by as much oas an inch..

I also found a feature where u can move the screen back in one movement when fully out.

Doesnt intrude on a MY99 dash at all
