FAO Anyone whos ever wrapped headers

From: Throwing myself down a mountain at every opportunity...
The first 8 inches of each of the 2 banks of 2 pipes are almost touching, so impossible to wrap. Is it ok to wrap the entirity of the first 8 inches of each (ie both pipes in the same wrap) and then split back to seperate pipes when there is room??
