just bought a hks 3"down pipe for my legacy it looks as though fitting will not be a problem as apart from the original downpipe the rest of the system is hks.The problem is that the lambda sensor on my car is situated right behind the turbo on the right hand side(as you look from the front),but on the hks down pipe it is about 18" further down on the opposite side and is a smaller thread size,if l use an impreza sensor will it wire up to the legacy wiring ok and send the correct info?.......Cheers Steve....

Steve, I'm not 100% on this but the hole in the bottom of the downpipe you have is for a cat temp sensor. Only Fitted to the JDM cars.

I have an Imprezza Lambda sensor fitted to my H&S downpipe in the same place as the standard Legacy place. (just behind the turbo underneath the charge cooler right?)

What you will need to do is get the whole at the bottom of the d/pipe filled with either weld or a plug with the correct thread.

You will then need to have a whole machined into the neck of the d/pipe and the correct size thread for your exisiting Lambda sensor tapped into it.

Not too bad if your good on the tools or know a man that can

Good Luck Mate.
