Given the "pain in the butt" factor, you'd almost certainly be better off just going down your local Subaru dealer. If they won't service your requirements because you have an import, phone around a few others.
If your MAF sensor has gone and you need one ASAP, the costs involved in getting one over fast would I'm pretty certain more than soak up any difference in price over what you'd pay over here.
