whats the advantage of having MP3 player and how do they work?

oh and Ive just ordered a Pioneer DEH 3500MP, whats good speakers to use? not REALLY loud, quite loud, but with good sound quality.


Ive been told by a friend @ unicar that sony 3 way 6x9s are crap, this true?

 

Advantage of MP3 player? How about potentially over a hundred tracks on one CD. And given the limited acoustics in a car, unless you really are a true audiophile, you'll be hard pushed to notice the difference over a CD.

I rip my CD's to MP3 then put them on a CDRW. I can get about 12-13 Audio CD's worth on one CDRW, which I can erase and start again if I'm bored.

The tracks are encoded with the album, artist, song title data etc so you can see what you are listening to, rather than just track 1, track 2 etc. Another benefit is that I don't have to install a CD changer now, nor have the original discs in the car.

As far as the speakers go, I have only heard the Sonys once, and that was in my neighbours Nova. They didn't impress me to be honest.

so what ever i name it it shows?!
so i cant title a song "the drivers ace but the passengers a ****!" and it will show when playing that track?!

Go for infinity 605's in the door mate ,you will not go far wrong but there might be a lack of bass, sub next maybe. MP3 is great have a kenwood mp3 compatible changer 10 discs with over 100 tracks on each disc - 1000+ tracks(depend on encode setting) to hand at the touch of a button or put it on random and just enjoy

 

hmmmmmmmm- got a pioneer changer DXC P25 wont work with it.


Ive gone for some nice 400w 3way 6 x 9s in back and 360w 4 way 6x9s behind seats.
