Hi all,

Just had a new head unit fitted the unit has a permanent feed as I asked to be able to power the unit on with the engine switched off. But, the problem is this if I have switched on the unit and am listening to the radio and then decide to start the car the HU switches off and then powers back on. This is so annoying! Can anyone shed light on the problem is it because the HU is tapped into the car's wiring loom and the permanent feed is being interrupted when the car is started?

Will a permanent feed from the battery solve the problem?

i want to know what the solution is before going back to the shop who fitted the unit.
