Question

How much torque can the gearbox take? How about the rest of the transmission? Does anyone know or could they point me in the direction of a website that would have this listed.

Cheers

Same as ordinary box, AFAIK, and the transmission generally probably less than Sti type R/RA etc which have the bigger rear diff, drive shafts etc.

My P1 runs about 325bhp/285ftlb and seems OK apart from the regular P1/StiV fourth/fifth gear graunch rebuild every so often.

My sti5 should have a similar gearbox

No probs with 400bhp and 350lbs torque

and I expect it to have no probs with a bit more power and torque -never had any gearbox problems at all...........

But then I never do any Santa Pod type antics

Gear can be a bit of a pain sometimes into 1st and 2nd but then its always been like that

Clutch - sti original - dont expect to last too long - AP Organic holding strong
