Whilst sitting in a traffic jam on the A3 for over an hour going past Guildford, I saw half a dozen Scoobs driving the opposite way (towards London). If anyone saw a black WRX with a narked off driver & passenger - it was me!

BTW, is the A3 normally this bad at around 5-5.30 every Friday night? I thought I was being clever avoiding the M3, but ended up taking 3 hours to get from London to Gosport.

 

When working in fleet, i used to cut across from the m3 to the hogs back then onto the a3, was always much quicker than chugging up the m3 and round the m25 towards reigate. Plus it misses the variable speed camera bollocks.

You must have picked a bad night.

Always like that going towards Portsmouth try going A31 (hogs back) turn off at puttenham go left and join onto A3 just after Guildford.
