Some of you may know I fitted an Apexi Power FC at the weekend, I also had a Blitz boost controller to fit as well!!
I got the instructions in the post this morning and fitted it up this afternoon.
Well I wish I hadn't!! The knock reading on the power commander went up to the 60's and once peaked at 70 and I heard 'the noise' Everyone has been asking what knock sounds like, it is an awful noise, you will not want to hear it again, I tell you my **** turned itself inside out!
Well I went straight home and disconnected the thing, seems to be running fine so hopefully no long term damage has been done.
I will post another thread regarding the peak boost I reached, and some questions based on that.

Cheers

Ive

an OE pump ???? would be suprised Ive, do a search on fuel pumps and see what comes up, would think the lack of fuel could be contributing to the problem though, injectors should certainly make a difference.

Cool

Cheers Rich
Just got it booked in at Abbeymotorsport, however got to wait 3 weeks! They said I could pop in tomorrow morning and they will adjust the timing for me, then they want the car for 2 days to set up, by that time the front mount will be fitted. Will discuss the fitting of an uprated pump with them.

keep you all posted
