Drivers of equal ability, racing in a straight line, on a drag strip, in the dry. (0-100mph)
5 races. (to avoid the "aww, damn, my foot slipped off the clutch 2 soon" syndrome etc)

CARS:
Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type-R
MR2 turbo
Escort Cosworth
BMW M3 (NON EVO)
Sierra Cosworth
Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo
Toyota Supra t/turbo
Nissan Sunny GTIR

Who wins...whadda yuh reckon?

Question

I take it these are all standard cars?

If so.....

1. The sti type r would be first (due to more power/closer ratios).

2. id think something along the lines of the MR2 turbo or the Fiat turbo.

3. as above, would be a close race!

4. Hmmmmmm, possably the Supra next (depends on which model though).

5. The GTiR

6. Between the escort and sierra cosworts here.

7. as above.

8. I take it you mean the E36 M3, which are not that quick really.

Tony

1.STI/M3(approx 13-13.5secs)
2.GTiR(approx 13.5-14secs)
3.Escort/Sierra Cosworth/Supra(approx14secs)
4.MR2/Fiat(approx 14.5secs).

All the RWD/FWD would then start to pull on the AWD's after 100mph.

Thumbs down

What does it matter? Racing in straight lines is boring, dull, tedious and a waste of time. Unless your American and you don't know what a corner is.
Give me twisties. If you want to rule the bends, you have to bend the rules.
