Em - My Hauppage TV card that is 5 years old came with both a remote control and an infra red receiver. Never got the bugger to work mind you!

Rich, I'd not be surprised at it being a feature of a TV card, although having never been interesed in TV cards, I've never seen one with a remote! The thing that surprises me about this one is that it's not a TV card and it's aimed at the budget video card market, yet still has a remote!

Still, from the reviews, it seems to do the job quite well; especially for a card that retails at around £120 inc. VAT.
