how to remap ECU?
I am interested in learning how to properly/safely map an ECU.
Does anyone have any tips on this regarding courses/books/tools or methods to learn this?
Ideally i would like to get some experience with someone who knows what they are doing, but probably should read up on the theory first.
thanks for any help.

Also read up on anything fuelling/timing/charge related on the internet. You really need to understand how the power of the engine is simply related to how much air it can process at the right temperature, with correct fuelling and optimum timing.
It's then just a matter of strengthening everything that breaks or falls off....
Once you get to the stage of building a stronger engine, then things get a bit more interesting!

PS; I recommend the above books too.

'21st century performance' and 'Engine Management' are now ordered.
I'll leave the turbo book till ive read a bit of the other 2.
ot sure which one is the best one to start on, but looking forward to them being delivered now.
