Try NASIOC. I think you would get base maps from someone on there with a VF turbo which would be a good place to start. Retard the timing from a base map in all the boost zones over say 8 PSI and reintroduce it and possibly more if there is no det. If you find detonation in any zone, back off until it doesn't and then 2 degrees more. Hold the engine back in 4th gear when the car is hot at all the engine speeds of interest if you don't have access to a dyno. Watch road safety when you are reading gauges Obviously you'll have to do the boost control yourself.

Try a tune at say a conservative 17-18 PSI rolling off to 16 PSI at 6000 RPM for starters and see how it goes, save the high boost for when you have a nice base map, and only run higher boost if it gives more power (test it). Try about 11:1 AFR richening to 10.5:1 at 6000 RPM initially, depending on octane. Look out for your small injectors if you have not upgraded the fuel system. Then lean it out once you are happy as octane allows. This should suit the TD05 and a TMIC and allow good timing.
