I have a MY01 Impreza turbo.
The car is a UK spec but is a dutch import.

My local subaru dealer tell me it needs a service every 6 months /7.5K miles, the same as my old classic??
They said its because its an import, but surely if its UK spec the service interval is every year or 10K miles.
(Although I would still have an oil change every 6 months).

Anybody know the correct service interval please?

Thanks,
Graham.

The UK MY01's were originally 6 months and 7.5K like the classics but this was soon changed to 12 months and 10K.

The EU imports remained at 6 months and 7.5K but not sure why really as you say, they're full UK spec.

Not much help really, sorry

Chris

Servicing is at 7.5k - I gues because the warranties are administered by Subaru Benelux/Holland and those are the servicing schedules they lay down to maintain the warranty cover.

The bugeyes in the UK were 7.5k when they launched, then IM changed it to 10k service.

I personally prefer the 'security' of 7.5K servicing on a car like this - although not the expense.

Never mind at least we saved ££££s buying them...
