cutting at speed

can anyone tell me how to check if my car has been de limited apart from flooring, as the engine seems to cut at about 110,is there somthing i can look and tell if it has or do you de limit the car through the ecu some how ?

I presume your car is a Jap Import. If it is cutting at 112mph (180kph) then it is still limited, you can get it delimited for around £100. Try calling a Jap import specialist, there's plenty of them on here!

the thing is ive got reciepts with the car including de cat exhaust induction kit supachip etc what fist owner put on so i assume its probably done but just need to check ,and if it has its obviously somthing causing it to cut

at what rpm are you when it cuts??
2 possibles from what you've said.....either the car is / has RA gearing which would limit the speed to around what you are saying, or,
the japanese speed limiter is still installed.....even if the car is 'chipped', etc. then this will still operate as it is driven off the clocks
the only other option is that you have some form of fault but it seems strange that it is at the 'jap spec' limit!!

The Chip you have is obviously using much of the Existing Subaru ECU

Jap cars cut off is 180-185Km/h which is in the ECU, so to remove replace the ECU, with say link/motec etc.
