Would it be possible to fit one of these to a classic impreza ??

What do people think? i know DW. had problems with his 6 speed.

 

I didnt have problems fitting 6spd.. physically fits..

Spoke to import car parts who said that they didn't fancy removing the brains (wiring loom, controls, ecu etc). The problem was separating it from the rest of the car i think. The only supply the gerabox itself. Booo

Anyone got any ideas ??

 

not much use without the computer afaik...you'll also want it to talk to the engine, and the indicator from the dash board (or maybe it was the whole lot - speedo, tacho etc). I heard the whole shebang talks among themselves, and without some of it it sorta turns off the fun (manual shift) coz it can't tell what the rpm is. why not try for a wrecked JDM auto Rex, i think they got the same set up (you'd get the engine too ).
