Question

Right, am going to clean out the pipes on the boost solenoid tonight, to try and cure the overboost i seem to be getting.

When i was under the bonnet yesterday, i had a quick peek to see what i was in for, and on the solenoid, there is a clear top on it, which looks like it had fluid in it ????

Is this normal ???

I've done a few searches...but no threads with this in it.

Question

Bob Rawle at BRD has just fitted one for me, a 3 port one,IIRC.
I was looking at it, and it seems to have a clear top with fluid, but on closer inspection, I'm pretty sure it's an epoxy type sealant covering the top where the wires go in.
