Can somebody tell me exactly what the difference between cr and a normal box is, what are the advantages and disadvantages, i'm looking at entering sprint racing and think this might be the road to go down.

hi mate close ratio box will get faster over the gears and will always be on song coz its shorted so u will be in boost all the time, speak to andy f he had one that maxed out i think at 125 and is very fast


and a long gear ratio one gives u more revs and better fuel economy

What a lot of people do is get the close ratio kit and use it on all gears but 5th, so you still get your cruising speed
