Hi all,

Im after a new Scooby and have seen that the early JDM sti 7's are fairly cheep. but was told that the early ones didnt come with the abs and sure diffs. would this make so much difference to a normal driver because i really fancy one? its a 51 platethe one ive seen and the miles are good, just wanted some advice.

Anyone got any answers i would really apreciate.

I think you will find that the JDM STI 7 comes in several specs one of the specs if I am right in saying did'nt come with the front diffs, it could be a gl model but I am not 100% sure.

anyone else got some ideas? i really need to now before i jump into any thing. the only other idea was to go for an sti 5 type R but i wanted a diferent shape to what ive got. advice please!!!

The GL version is the one that comes fully loaded with gas discharge headlights etc

I run a JDM STI7 GL version, it will tell you what the version is GL,KL,EL on the v.i.n. plate

does your sti 7 hav ABS brakes, .......if not hows it do....also whats the handling like without the fancy diffs?
